PM240 is a rigid, medium density 0.24g/cm³ polyurethane (PU) model board ideal for making patterns, models, and even temporary moulds for short production runs. It can be easily shaped by hand with conventional tools or machined using manual or CNC machine tools, although the medium density PU model board does not have the strength or surface finish of our higher density PU model board.
Medium density model board has a high dimensional stability, high temperature and chemical resistance, and good compressive strength. If you have a requirement for machined or finished polyurethane model board components please ask the Plastock team for more information.
