Plutone PU is a transparent ether based TPU hose reinforced with AISI 302 stainless steel spiral. It has completely smooth inside and outside surfaces to enhance flow properties and allow easy cleaning and sterilisation.
This extruded, low porosity TPU hose reduces permeation problems. It is highly neutral in taste and odor and preserves the organoleptic properties (taste, smell, color, texture) of the medium. It has very good chemical resistance to acids and alkaline solutions and good impermeability, as well as excellent resistance to microbes and hydrolysis. It is also resistant to oils and fats under common use conditions. Plutone PU does not need any vulcanization process which prevents the risk of curing agent residues leaching into the end product (peroxide or platinum volatile rests).
Plutone PU is food grade according to EU Regulation 10/2011 (classes A,B,C, D2 and E); FDA reg. (Title 21 CFR 177.2600). Its temperature range is -40 to 90°C (peaks 125 °C). Conductive by grounding the spiral (R<10² Ohm/m).
Typical applications include the suction of powders and high abrasive granules. Plutone PU is the ideal solution for conveying pharmaceutical and cosmetic powders, pills and tablets, for food flours and grains, sugar, salt and dry fruit, and for the transfer of olive oil and fatty food. Suitable also for food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic liquids with alcohol concentration up to max 20%.

What is the cost of delivery?
Because of the huge variation in our orders we have developed a specialised shipping calculator for clients ordering online. Once you fill out your order details and progress through to the online checkout, our calculator will automatically work out the precise shipping cost for you to check before you proceed.
What delivery methods do you use?
We have a selection of couriers suited to the size, weight and type of product you order from us. It is likely we will deliver your goods with a courier service such as Tuffnells, TNT, DHL etc. You can track your order with the shipment number, if you would like us to send you the tracking number for your order please contact us or give us a call and we can track it for you.
If you would like to specify any special delivery instructions these can be entered at the point of ordering or please give us a call once you have placed your order and we will try to accommodate your requests.
Delivery options...
- Collection. Once your order is ready for collection, we shall call you to advise. Our collection point is open until 5pm - Monday - Friday.
- Standard Delivery. All of our orders come with standard delivery which is typically a 1-3 working day service. Standard delivery assumes reasonable access and is to ground floor, or use of a suitable lift for anything above ground level.
