Plastock can machine, fabricate and supply all your material requirements. Order online or call us on 01494 449975.
UPVC Pressed Grey Sheet is a thermoplastic with an amorphous structure, high solidity and a high modulus of elasticity. It has excellent electrical properties, especially in the low voltage and frequency field, high chemical stability and excellent fire resistance (it is self-extinguishing). It is a good electrical insulator, absorbs little water and is physiologically inert.
The long term service temperature range of PVC Pressed Sheet is from -10°C to 60°C, and it is stable against the majority of diluted or concentrated acids up to temperatures of 60°C.
Typical fields of application for UPVC Sheet include chemical engineering, tank building and pump engineering. It is a material well suited to CNC routing, CNC milling and Bonding. If you have a requirement for machined or finished UPVC components please ask the Plastock team for more information.
