Description

Nylon 6 Cast Black Rod is an engineering plastic with product characteristics including high toughness even at high temperatures, high rigidity and high UV resistance. The long term service temperature range of Nylon 6 Rod is from -40°C to 110°C and has a short term maximum service temperature of 170°C.

Typical fields of application for Nylon 6 Rod include mechanical engineering, offshore and steel industries. Nylon 6 Rod is a material well suited to CNC turning, billeting and precision grinding. Similar materials available from Plastock include Nylon 66 Extruded Black Rod and Nylon 6 Cast Natural Rod.
