Our PLA 3D printing filament consists of high quality Ingeo biopolymer, a low carbon, biobased material made from ethically sourced, annually renewable feedstocks such as corn and cassava.
It has high dimensional stability, a high level of stiffness and a high modulus of elasticity (3,380 MPa). Other benefits include reduced energy consumption and low nozzle temperatures while printing. Long term tests have shown that there is no embrittlement on the coil. Typical applications include high precision temporary parts and dimensionally stable products such as moulds.
Our filaments are produced from high-quality raw materials with close tolerances (+/- 0,05 mm) allowing precise and failure-free 3D printing. They are low emission, odour free, shrinkage-free and have good layer adhesion. They are compatible with all standard 3D printers and are delivered carefully spooled and packed in easy to use resealable zip bags.
If you have a requirement for printed or finished components please ask the Plastock team for more information.
