Solid Surface is a high-quality, durable plastic that is made of mineral filler, typically Aluminium Trihydrate (ATH), bound in an acrylic or polyester resin. Pigments and particulates (various-sized chips of solid surface) are added to the mix to generate colour and make patterns or designs in the final product. Solid Surface can be cut, milled, sanded, shaped, thermoformed, engraved and bonded seamlessly.
Solid Surface is lightweight, colourfast, food-safe, and non-porous as well as being moisture, heat and chemical resistant.
